Today, Grab has announced that its convenient and grocery delivery service GrabMart has helped retailers in improving their sales 3 times as much during the Movement Control Order (MCO).
The initiative is also part of the government’s economic revitalization program Pelan Jana Semula Ekonomi Negara (PENJANA) and aims to achieve the following goals:
- Meet customer expectations for safe, ‘instant’ delivery
- Enable retail stores to access millions of consumers living and working nearby
The service has achieved a high-level standard where delivery times are generally under 30 minutes for as low as RM5 per trip. With such record-standing numbers, Grab is encouraging traditional retailers that rely on walk-ins to generate sales to join the Instant Retail program for a safe and improved retail experience.
