The recently-announced Motorola phone, the Moto X, is the first phone that will have its specifications fully customizable, giving users full control over what hardware they want their phone to have. This certainly is a little confusing and caused some commotion over the issues of fragmentations and whatnot, but I’ll leave that for now.
A new video surfaced from the Canadian telco Rogers, showing that the Moto X is an exclusive phone for the telco and also showed off some of the amazing features of the new Moto X.
NOTE : The original video has already been taken down, but remember that everything that goes to the Internet never leaves.
Motorola is now completely recognized as a Google company, where they fully integrated all things Google into its new flagship phone. Shown in the video, the phone acts like Google Glass where you say “OK Google Now” to activate its voice command. Rather lengthy for a waking command.
It also shows that notifications appear subtly on the screen while it’s in standby mode. Surely this is amazing, but this might be a Moto X-only feature, or maybe it’s the first-hand tip for the next version of Android too. In any case, we’ll know when the time comes.
