Creators rejoice as Kingston has announced a pretty neat hub, Workflow Station and Readers for superior connectivity alongside a sneak peek for future NVMe SSDs for this year.

CES Workflow Station

For starters, this little hub allows creators to offload tons of files at once with 4 available slots of removable connectors to transfer all the video, photos, and audio all at once.

Finally, a dream come true as multiple 4Kor 8K streams from the such of GoPros and RED cameras can be transferred at once through the USB mini-hub, SD, and microSD readers. Also, it is fully portable since it only needs a USB-C to connect to any supported device.

Kingston SSD CES 2021

Speaking of SSDs, Kingston shared several upcoming new NVMe SSDs that serves a huge variety of users that ranges from:

  • Ghost Tree: Extreme 7GBps read and write speed with PCIe 4.0
  • NV Series: Entry-level PCIe 3.0 drives with high value to performance ratio
  • XS2000: USB 3.2 Gen 2×2 external drives with transfers speed up to 2GBps
  • DC1500M: Datacenter exclusive U.2 drives for bandwidth and data-heavy tasks like virtual infrastructures and web hosting

In my opinion, the Workflow Station and Reader will definitely bump up the productivity of content creators especially those who work in a mobile environment that needs to constantly move around. At the very least, it can work as a fast and premium hub to your desktop rig for connecting a bunch of external drives.
