Shopee has announced the new ‘Deals Near Me’ feature in conjunction with this year’s Ramadhan month.
To incentivize more user to utilize its e-wallet service, the company combines the use of fast payment plus voucher application that you normally use during online shopping into a new service where ‘Deals Near Me’ finds nearby merchants that support the ShopeePay platform and provides you with extra cashback vouchers when you use the service to pay the bills, essentially turn them into instant discount offers.
Aside from regular coupons, specially curated ones will be made available to support the month of Ramadhan to fellow Muslims as well: Sahur Specials at 5 a.m, Jom Berbuka Dengan ShopeePay at 12 p.m, and Moreh Specials at 10 p.m. A rule of thumb for these vouchers is each will cost you a mere 5 sen to purchase but they will certainly bring more value in return with some of them rebating up to RM8. At here, you’ll need to input the printed amount of the bill (Not the rebated amount if you happen to pre-calculate it) and you’ll have to select the associated voucher which will automatically be deducted from your final pay.
