The LEGO Group is happy to announce that everyone’s favorite red plumber Super Mario will be having his green brother Luigi join the LEGO playset starting August this year.
Continuing the partnership with Nintendo, Luigi’s addition to the Super Mario series pertains to the classic video game playstyle by moving him from the Start Pole to the Goal Pole while earning digital coins by ‘helping’ him completing seesaw challenges, defeating Bone Goomba and Boom Boom and also interacting with a new Pink Yoshi. The Starter Course of 71387 Adventures includes brown bricks that trigger new sound from LEGO Luigi and a [?] block that pops random rewards. Speaking about LEGO Luigi himself, it houses a color sensor, LCD screen, and speaker to play various memorable Super Mario sounds and music from the game.
The Luigi Starter Course is priced at RM259.90 and it is open for preorders now on Lazada, Shopee, Toys ‘R’ Us, Brick Magic, Box of Bricks, and LEGOLAND platforms and serves as an expansion and integrates seamlessly together with Mario Starter Course and all associated Expansion Sets, Character Packs and Power-Up Packs.
