TikTok has enabled a feature that allows creators to bulk delete comments or report users up to 100 submissions per batch.
To continue promoting a peaceful environment within the platform, TikTok is allowing creators to take matters into their own hands by removing comments or contents that have been attached to their uploads through a more seamless experience. They can also report them to TikTok to determine whether the commentator’s action goes against the Community Guidelines.
The feature is currently rolling out globally over the course of the coming weeks and to make matters more important, TikTok’s internal Trust and Safety Team is under training to improve tools to protect user experience on the platform through the recent partnership with Trust and Safety Professional Association (TSPA).
Nice to see TikTok is doing something to curb online toxicity and with that being said, keep this kind of action to your own social circle is plenty enough. We don’t need hurtful comments publicly displayed for all to see.
