To encourage more users to upgrade their ShopeePay account status from Basic to Premium, Shopee is currently running a campaign that gives out free digital funds when users apply for the program. If everything is smooth sailing, you’ll be notified that your account has been upgraded.
In conjunction with the government’s eBelia program allowing youngsters aged between 18 to 20 to claim an RM150 e-wallet credit, I do feel like RM5 is kinda lackluster to convince new users to go all-in into the service. RM10 should be the sweet spot, perhaps?
