OPPO recently launched the OPPO A74, which is a mid-range smartphone with a pretty good list of specs. When we got the phone on our table, we were immediately surprised by the size of the box. We knew that we’re in for a treat.
OPPO also didn’t skimp on its proprietary fast-charging technology on this mid-range smartphone. It comes with a 33W charger in the box, alongside its proprietary USB-A to USB-C cable.
As a quick refresher, the OPPO A74 comes with this list of specs:
- 6.43-inch AMOLED Display
- Top Left Punch Hole Notch
- Qualcomm Snapdragon 662 Chipset
- 6GB RAM
- 128GB Storage
- Triple Rear Camera
- Main: 48MP f/1.7 with PDAF
- Macro: 2MP f/2.4
- Depth Sensor
- 16MP Selfie Camera
- 5,000mAh Battery
- 33W Fast Charge
- Prism Black, Midnight Blue
The OPPO A74 that we got is in the Midnight Blue color – and while nothing looks “midnight” about it, the phone sure is shimmery and the high-gloss gradient from the sharp blue at the bottom to a soothing silver at the top, reminds me of Pepsiman.
