HONOR’s new MagicBook X 15 gets a head start sale before the HONOR 50 smartphone in Malaysia

The new flagship HONOR 50 has been announced in China a couple of days ago with our Malaysia branch followed up with an update stating that they will be arriving pretty soon. But they had other plans, as they have officially pushed out the new MagicBook X 15 laptop yesterday.

While the name MagicBook X 15 seems like an enhanced edition of MagicBook, it is actually not as it runs a 10th gen Intel Core CPU, 8GB RAM, and a starting 256GB PCIe storage to keep the cost down. This can be quirky as it is suitable for students and workers that work with light applications and aren’t required to overspend their budget but the use of last generation processor often means that that computing power creep will be met earlier, not to mention that 11th gen Intel Core mobile CPUs are pretty powerful nowadays. In short, a simple laptop with average expectations coupled with a low entry barrier, decent battery at 42Whr together with a 65W Fast Charge enabled power brick, it is actually great for a daily companion sort of device.

HONOR Malaysia will also include one of two freebies within the MagicBook lineup so if you’re geared up and currently looking for a new laptop, give them a try (Although the freebies are a bit lackluster IMO).

The HONOR MagicBook X 15 launches tomorrow at 12 a.m. sharp on Shopee, local HONOR Flagship Stores, and authorized dealers.
