We all know that smartphones are a fragile thing and over the years, brands such as Corning have made breakthroughs that made glass tougher than ever with most big companies such as Samsung applying the solution to the more premium lineups. However, Samsung is tipping the durability scale over to their side by announcing the new Galaxy XCover 5.
Packed with a great load of toughness-related designs, the device is capable of withstanding drops of up to 1.5 meters and 30 minutes of complete water submersion thanks to its IP68 rating. As most professionals wear gloves to protect themselves, the display is tuned with higher sensitivity to accept finger inputs even with a layer of non-conductive material in between them. Internal security is powered by Samsung Knox, the brand’s well-known industrial-level encryption suite to help protect business-critical data meanwhile the side XCover Key button is programmable to launch apps and functions to allow quick access to them. However, you may still contact them to see whether if you can land a deal with the local representatives by clicking here.
