Fellow Caltex supporters that juice up automobiles with the brand’s high-quality petrol can now engage transactions in another cashless payment through the official CaltexGo app.
As Malaysia drives itself towards a cashless and smart society, it is reasonable for a petrol company to start their own e-payment platform in the shape of CaltexGo for Caltex, of course. Through the app, users can do all sorts of things such as pay for fuel, earn/manage/redeem JOURNEY card BPoints, find the nearest Caltex station or check on transaction history without relying on another service.
The app takes the “smart petrol station” to the next level because riders simply need to select the associated station and pump number followed by the desired amount and after that, they can safely lift the nozzle and start fueling for a literal zero contact process.
Currently, stations that participate and support CaltexGo are currently limited to selected premises within the Klang Valley but Caltex promises to fully integrate the system during next year across the entire country. Additionally, the brand is currently offering some nice benefits such as RM5 cashback with a minimum RM30 spent on fuel for first-time users and another round of similar cashback during subsequent visits, capped at 2 redeems.
