Garmin Malaysia is hosting yet another run of online running activity but with a wholesome back story of donating to charity.
Created in partnership with BiiB, the Solidarity Run 2021 virtual running campaign is opened for up to 1,000 participants starting today until October 16 for a communal experience despite it being online. The run is set to be a distance of up to 21KM with a joining fee of either RM30, RM50, RM100, RM200, or RM300 which will be collected and donated towards The Hope Branch Malaysia who is providing financial aid towards families in need. After the event, participants will receive an e-cert and a limited edition Garmin jersey in return. Additionally, participants will all automatically enter a lucky draw giveaway when they sync the running activities and stats with the Garmin Sports app.
Some things to take note of are participants must sync or submit the starting date+time, duration, distance, and route (Outdoor Only) within 72 hours after the end of each routine and for indoor running on treadmills, a photo of the treadmill dashboard must be submitted manually and only relevant distance are counted, not step-based.
