Samsung Malaysia has unveiled a newcomer of the microSD lineup, the PRO Plus while refreshed the existing EVO Plus with greater enhancement along the line.
Made to alleviate the problems of growing demands for high-quality flash storage to store all the important data, the new PRO Plus and EVO Plus microSD cards are designed for heavy-duty tasks such as 4K photos and videos even in extreme conditions thanks to the 6-proof protection layer that is capable of withstanding against extreme temperature fluctuation, liquid, x-ray- wear out, drops and magnetic impacts.
Let’s talk about the PRO Plus cards as they are new members of the family. Basically, these are a tier higher than the EVO Plus models as discerning content creators need all the access speed they can get without caring about the price first and the PRO Plus did deliver those at around 160MBps reads and 120MB writes, compared to the EVO Plus’s current newly refreshed 130MBps.
Availability
The new Samsung PRO Plus and enhanced EVO Plus microSD cards will launch in Malaysia starting in early November with capacities starting from 64GB and all the way up to 512GB.
