Sudio just released the new Sudio T2 – their brand new pair of wireless earbuds – comes in a very nice and fancy-looking design. We have all 4 colors of the Sudio T2 with us today – the usual black and white, sand color, and then this new jade color.
There are a lot of upgrades going on with this pair of TWS earbuds – so let’s take a look at it.
Starting off with the packaging. I’d say the packaging has shrunk down in size to be compact while still retaining all of the fancy packaging design and accessories inside the box.
Opening it up and see what’s inside – we have the Sudio T2 itself sitting in this cradle.
Then under the cradle, we have 3 more things. We have a box that houses all the eartips. There are a total of 4 different eartip sizes to choose from – XS, M, L, and XL. These eartips are also using a special type of design as the eartips include a mesh – which means the entire eartip can be washed and cleaned easily.
And oh – in this compartment, we have a microfiber cloth that also tells us to register the product in Sudio Sphere to claim an extended warranty. It’s 3 years of international warranty, by the way.

In the other compartment, we have a single, short USB-A to USB-C cable in the matching color.
Finally – there’s a user manual underneath everything which we’ll definitely talk about later since the Sudio T2 is quite… complicated.
Okay, so let’s talk about the earbuds themselves. The Sudio T2 comes in a case that is shaped like a pebble and I absolutely like this cute little design. It’s still rather easy to handle despite having such a rounded shape, by the way.
At the back of the case, we have the USB-C charging port. That button at the bottom is to reset the Bluetooth connection.
Opening up the case, the Sudio T2 has a very nice hinge and it doesn’t just flop around. Taking out the earbuds is also very easy, by the way.
The earbuds themselves are pretty similar to some of the best earbud shapes that I’ve worn. The shape is clean and doesn’t have any protruding stem – which keeps the whole design clean.
For each side of the earbud, there are multiple different microphones – and one of them is pointing downward to the wearer’s mouth – so it will definitely perform better. Sudio also claims the Sudio T2 to have “beamforming microphones”.
And now – let’s try listening to some music. I have tried the Sudio T2 with a bunch of different music. I think it sounds amazing for this generation, honestly. The bass level is thumpy and the vibrations are great, while the mids and highs are also great as I was able to enjoy my big band jazz music so much.
There are even more features for the Sudio T2 too. The silver ring on the earbuds is actually a touch panel. You can play or pause music, go next or previous track, and also control the volume. That’s pretty standard.
But the Sudio T2 also comes with ANC and transparency mode. Just touch and hold to cycle between normal mode, ANC mode, and transparency mode. I gotta say, ANC mode and transparency mode does work but it’s not that impactful.
I am also just… very confused since I don’t know which mode I am in. Let me explain why – when I’m cycling between normal mode, ANC, and transparency mode, it doesn’t tell me in words. What I hear is a wind wooshing sound, then a dramatic ding dong, and then a chime.
I can confirm what the wooshing sound is for ANC since I can feel the pressure building up in my ears, but the ding dong and chime? I can’t tell which is normal mode and which is transparency mode.
Also, because there is no app for the Sudio T2, it’s quite confusing.
But then, the battery life – it’s supremely good. I used the Sudio T2 in normal mode and it lasts for a good 7-ish hours of listening time in just one single charge. The case can charge the earbuds for like 3-4 times more, and I’m just liking the battery life overall.
Overall, I think the Sudio T2 is a big improvement – and a lower price from its predecessors too.
What’s the price?
The new Sudio T2 retails for RM549. For the price, I’d say it’s actually pretty good. It sounds good and the microphone performs well – it’s just that swapping between transparency, ANC, and normal mode isn’t particularly straightforward.
With that said, the payment of RM549 can also be paid in just one bill, or split it into 4 instalments.
