At the latest launch of the Learn From Home initiative born from a partnership between the government, YES, and FrogAsia, the latest group benefiting from this program are the higher education students.
Announced by the YB Tan Sri Datuk Seri Panglima Haji Annuar Bin Haji Musa who’s our Minister of Communications and Multimedia, those who enroll in tertiary studies are able to start the new academic year with a monthly 7GB data from YES until the end of September of 2022. Additionally, faculty staff who work in these institutions can also apply for the same program, albeit under a separate category. If the 7GB is still not enough, there are also separate value packages available such as a 20GB quota for 90 days for RM30 per month or 1GB individual top-up options under a variety of names.
But the actual good news is all existing applicants of Learn From Home can also enjoy the extension by simply applying for it through the official portal of the program. Now that’s what I call an actual welfare program that is both practical and ambitious.
