For anyone who would just like to get some shows on TV – be it movies or music from various services – the Chromecast is something special. It brings everything from Netflix, YouTube, Hulu, Google Play Store and also Chrome to your HDTV, with this small little device.
Sure, you can control it with any Android or iOS machine – even your Mac or Windows computer with Chrome. Dead simple installation where you just plug it in to your HDTV, connect it to your WiFi and you’re done!
Up until now, the problem with this that this little magical device is only available in the United States. Amazon however is changing this by bringing it to the world. Android Central first noticed it on Amazon.com and there were many people who tried ordering it from Hong Kong, Europe and even Australia – and all of them had a successful order placement.
I tried it in Malaysia too obviously, and the shipping is somewhat a little horrible as expected.
With all the prices quoted in US dollars, the device itself costs $35 (RM111.88), while the shipment itself costs an estimated price of $18.48 (RM59.08) and that brings the purchase to a total sum of $53.49, which translates to RM170.96. The shipment of this small device costs 52.8% of the original device itself already! It’s ridiculous!
Sure, if you’re a Chromecast lover or a big fan of all the magical things it can do, the price of RM170 isn’t really that bad after all, since it is a family-friendly device which also happens to be cross platform to let everyone – even your friends – to take control of the TV. The idea might have crossed with the Nexus Q, but I’m sure the Chromecast is not a disappointment.

Hey there just wanted to give you a quick heads up. The text in your content seem to be
running off the screen in Chrome. I’m not sure if this is a format issue or something to do with web browser compatibility but I figured I’d
post to let you know. The layout look great though! Hope you get the issue
resolved soon. Cheers
