Dell Technologies has recently performed an investigation on hybrid workforces that defines organizations that employ people to work both from the comfort of their home and within the standard office environment.
Within the report, it highlights the role of organizations in creating and designing a hybrid working infrastructure while capturing actionable insights and through those findings, 4 experts across the Asia Pacific and Japan region gave their advice on how to solve these issues the correct way.
First of all, every expert has expressed that leaders must be the defining role to assemble the building blocks of hybrid-based work culture by developing a clear fundamental and innovative way to bring changes to the organization in order to move forward while demonstrating the empathy and compassion faced by fellow employees of all hierarchy such as lacking face-to-face communication and blurred boundaries between professional and personal lives without leaving anyone out of the consideration. Additionally, it is key to establish trust with fellow employees and colleagues using an outcome-driven mindset to avoid falling into the looping trap of micromanagement. One of the more practical pieces of advice offered is to redirect any budget saved from daily office expenses and redirect them into social engagement programs such as team lunches or interactive training sessions. This helps create more opportunities for an organic exchange of ideas as well as the chance to foster trust and stronger working relationships between team members.
There’s more of it collected and revealed within the full paper so head over to this link to start reading and regaining the potential of your hybrid workforce back to where it should be.
