I think we’ve said this before – we all need computers to do everything. Since these machines are so accessible nowadays, the education sector has embraced this future and started elevating the teaching experience through computers with interactive media and simulations.
But then comes to the next question that we always get in our comment section – which laptop is recommended? Is this or that laptop more suitable for whatever the use case could be?
For schools, I think the best answer I can give is Chromebook laptops. I think they deserve so much more recognition. They’re always lower in price, much more power-efficient, yet they are highly sufficient for students – especially K12.
In the case of the ASUS Chromebook CR1 laptop, it even comes with a lot of “kid-proof” features. Actually, we did do a review of a very similar laptop previously, but it’s running on Windows instead.
I can tell you right now – having tried Chrome OS only for a moment, I immediately fell in love with it. Chrome OS is essentially an operating system but it’s a Chrome browser. Essentially, since we do pretty much live our lives on the web browser nowadays anyway, it makes sense to have the entire operating system be a browser.
There are many office apps and even creative drawing or note-taking apps that are available for and can run directly off a webpage. Even complex apps like photo editing can be done on the web browser.
And hey – the ASUS Chromebook CR1 also comes with both WiFi 6 and 4G LTE2 support as well – that means it offers supremely good connectivity wherever you are!
Still, many of the things are present on the ASUS Chromebook CR1 laptop too. It has the identical, high durability build quality and all-round rubber bumper to absorb fall damage. Of course, prevention is better than cure – and that is why the ASUS Chromebook CR1 looks like a golf ball. Those dimples improve the grip while holding the laptop, hence decreasing the chance of dropping the laptop. It’s especially useful to those with sweaty hands – like me!
Speaking of liquids – the ASUS Chromebook CR1 also has a spill-resistant keyboard that can hold up to 330 cc because accidents do happen, and I really wish these features to be found on high-end premium laptops too.
Moreover, the laptop is also made to be easily fixable. Many parts can be dismantled easily and swapped so maintenance is easy in case anything does get broken. That’s nice, since I kinda expect kids breaking laptops is pretty much inevitable.
By the way, this laptop also comes the ASUS Antibacterial Guard treatment and also eye-care display to ensure your little on gets the best protection in every aspect.
While this article is mostly focused on why the ASUS Chromebook CR1 laptop is beneficial for your child for studies, you can also highlight the benefits of using this laptop in the school too.
ASUS also has a special program for schools whereby your school’s management can undertake free trials for your students to experience ASUS Chromebook CR1 laptop in an actual learning environment before purchase.
