It’s been a while since Microsoft announced that the Windows 8 will be efficient enough to be ran on tablets and supports SoCs. I find it very believable too with the given extra battery life that I got on my laptop compared to Windows 7.
With that, ASUS launched the new Transformer Book T100, a 10-inch convertible tablet that runs on Intel Atom’s latest quad-core processor, Bay Trail. The specs of the device is stated as below :
- Quad-core Intel Atom Z3742 (1.33GHz)
- Intel HD graphics (7th generation)
- 10-inch IPS display, 1366×768 resolution
- 2GB RAM
- 32GB storage
- 1.2MP front-facing camera
- 31Wh battery
And oh – let’s not forget that this is also the first ever Windows 8 tablet by Asus that runs on Windows 8.1 out of the box! No hassle to upgrade from Windows 8 or anything else, it’s all done for you!
The Transformer Book T100 is now available in Malaysia and is priced at RM 1,299.
