Through realme’s weekly frequently asked question (FAQ), realme has responded that they will not be updating the realme Pad to Android 12. Instead, the company will only offer security and performance update throughout its software life cycle.
The realme Pad was launched in Malaysia back in November 2021 and it has captured a lot of attention for its RM799 (3GB+32GB) starting price. Right now, one can get it at an even lower price at RM699 after a discount.
Given its affordability and popularity, there’s no question that plenty of customers and realme fans have gotten their hands onto the tablet. However, it is rather disappointing that the company outright denies Android version updates for their first ever tablet.
