Dell Technologies have started off this year with an announcement of multi-cloud support through expansion of services and features towards existing infrastructures.
As more companies move into the cloud computing sector, heaps of data have piled up so much while being distributed across largely dispersed locations that only complex solutions are capable of handling them by utilizing a multi-cloud service. With Dell Technologies being one of the leading champions in this department, the company is expanding the APEX services known for multi-cloud integration with public clouds through the introduction of APEX Backup Services.
The service basically provides secured cloud data protection in a simplified and easy-to-use experience by protecting every connected cloud from end to end. Not only is the SaaS-based offering easily deployable within minutes and scale on-demand to follow up any growing cloud requirements, but it is also really strong against cyberattacks via instant section, rapid response, and most importantly, accelerated recovery when things do get bad.
Aside from that, the new Project Alpine is also another storage-focused portfolio but geared towards yes, public cloud again, as customers will have the choice of purchasing storage software as a managed service using existing cloud credits to enjoy and take advantage of a consistent storage experience from on-premises to public clouds and easily sharing
data across multiple clouds.
Dell Technologies also amped up developer operations (DevOp) by improving productivity speeds with brand new platforms and portals to help users get to things quicker. Build with partnerships across other key cloud vendors including Amazon, Microsoft, Google,
IBM/Red Hat and VMware, the Kubernetes has been upgraded to now providing Amazon EKS Anywhere on Dell Technologies’ PowerFlex and PowerStore offerings and SUSE Rancher on VxRail to fully utilize the power of multi-cluster, multi-cloud Kubernetes management.
