Surely we all know of Spotify by now, the largest online music streaming service, is available in Malaysia for quite some time already. We all enjoy the music that we always listen and love, and Spotify brings in music discovery services through the Radio function.
Today, Maxis announced their exclusive partnership with Spotify to bring Spotify Premium at an even lower price of RM10 per month, instead of the usual RM14.90. Imagine the access of more than 20 million tracks – and counting, made accessible in the highest quality across all your mobile devices with RM14.90, but now at only RM10. I’ll be crawling to the playlist machine to queue up all my favourite Daft Punk and Monstercat songs on it in an instant with my shared playlists!
Additionally, you get an extra 150MB of data for free when you sign up the plan. This 150MB however, is inclusive of Spotify’s usage, as it is actually an add-on to your monthly mobile data quota. Words can’t explain how excited we are, but this picture can.
Maxis also made this plan to be available for Hotlink users – meaning that you can sign up for this plan even if you’re using postpaid or prepaid service. Just dial *200# on your mobile device or visit this registration page with your WiFi connection turned off first.
Music on the go with a lower price and a greater quality across all devices, and able to play the songs offline. All this for RM10, only from Maxis. I’ll give them a thumbs up, but this guy already did a great cheer.
