Infinix Malaysia has announced that they are expanding its ZERO series family through the addition of ZERO X Pro and Zero 5G that tout as their lineup’s best-specced devices.
Coming as the strongest boys in the league within the ZERO family, the ZERO X Pro and ZERO 5G is going to fill different shoe this time around with the former striking the best performance a limited budget can buy while the latter is about that 5G “goodness” where I’m not sure if it was that good in Malaysia as of now but there’s that. Additionally, the ZERO X Pro is rocking a rear camera setup that wasn’t found on many affordable mid-low competitors so that could be some style points for users to find out.
Without taking too much of your time, it is best to run you down the spec sheet for both of them.

On the other hand, the ZERO 5G is priced slightly lower in order to offset the 5G feature set while toning some of the “premium” properties down to, what can I say, a decent and usable config while maintaining the overall design and looks to match the ZERO X Pro.

Pricing
Here’s where Infinix Malaysia is pulling a weird one. While the ZERO X Pro is priced at RM1,199 for the 8GB+128GB config and RM1,299 for the larger storage 8GB+256GB model while the ZERO 5G is a flat RM1,099 with an 8GB+128GB memory option, there are actually various dates where there’s a bit of bonus or instant rebate that you can grab for a better value. Deterring impulse purchases from a business perspective is one that I have not seen for a long time.
Anyway here are the dates and yes, the deals are on Infinix’s Shopee store exclusively.
- March 3: Pre Sale Bonus – RM100 off + FREE Infinix smartwatch for first 200 customers
- March 9: Official Launch – RM100 off
- March 15: Shopee Mega Campaign – RM100 off
- March 25: Shopee Payday Sale – RM100 off
Lucky guys who bought either one of the new boys will stand a chance to be enrolled into a lucky draw that has an Infinix lNBook X1 Pro as the grand prize!
