A smartphone, particularly in the premium section, is typically the best of what a brand could offer to its users. Combining cutting-edge technology, carefully crafted aesthetics, and most importantly – what the fans need in this day and age – often dictates how well a device performs in terms of sales. With that in mind, we can delve deeper into finding out why many people are drooling over Xiaomi’s latest flagship devices, the Xiaomi 12 and Xiaomi 12 Pro.
Unbeatable Performance for The Executives
Flagship devices deserve only the best and that comes from none other than the brain powering the Xiaomi 12 series devices which is the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chipset manufactured on the 4nm process which is one of the best in the industry right now.
As the pace of business elites are incredibly fast and they would not want to waste any seconds waiting, the powerful SoC within the smartphone duo provides a superior response time in terms of general performance and within gaming as well which fills in the shoes of a competitive gaming device for the professionals that like to game once in a while.
Also, there is no fear for the charging speed to be the bottleneck of daily activities as the Xiaomi 12 Pro packs its proprietary 120W HyperCharge technology that can juice up the 4,600mAh battery from 10% to full in less than 30 minutes!
On the other hand, the Xiaomi 12 does so at just a slightly slower period at 45 minutes for its 4,500 battery which is also quicker than most other smartphones in the market, by the way.
Pro-Grade Lenses for The Creators
Taking photos for business and professional use in 2022 is no longer the exclusive job of DLSR cameras as digital imaging technology within the smartphone industry has grown at such a rate that they can basically do the job as good as the big black blocky gadgets.
Particularly on the Xiaomi 12 Pro in which the camera department is delivered with more focus and attention, the triple 50MP array of the main, telephoto, and ultra-wide lenses ensures that no matter what mode has been selected for the use case, it will come out with absolute detail and quality.
Coupled with the brand’s refined AI algorithm to deliver a plethora of functions including Xiaomi ProFocus, One-Click AI Cinema, and Ultra Night Video, semi or masterful content creators alike are definitely the best beneficiaries in this area.
Colorful Screen with Absolute Clarity + Astounding Speakers = Film Maniac’s Best Friend
Yes, we do know some of you watch films and movies with your smartphones due to constantly moving around and could only catch a break or so during the brief chill time, and the Xiaomi 12 series devices are tuned to deliver a great experience in that aspect too.
Sporting a high-grade WQHD+ AMOLED panel with a 120Hz refresh rate for the extra pixels and smoothness, the Xiaomi 12 Pro also features a set of quad-speakers of 2x tweeters and 2x woofers with the SOUND BY Harman Kardon certification that churns out crisp and undistorted audio and if needed, the Dolby Atmos function will kick in to give out that spatial detail to make your movies more immersive.
The base Xiaomi 12 is also not bad on its own, rocking an FHD AMOLED screen with a similar 120Hz refresh rate but had the speaker setup cut down to a pair of tweeter and woofer but all the audio and video techs are there to stay!
Slick and Shiny yet Simple for The Fashionistas
You can’t just pack everything top-tier into a bland shell and call it a day. That’s not how flagship devices work. It needs to look good as well, either to be heckin flashy or approach the “Less Is More” philosophy where the Xiaomi 12 family is taking the latter formula.
As such, the vibrant Purple color covering most of the device’s back touched up with a hint of Gold for the camera bump makes this particular combo a killer, especially for the ladies out there. The entirety of the device is also created to feature as many rounded edges as possible to create a comfortable holding experience.
The devices are also available in other colors like Gray and Blue. Male users out there need not to worry.
Move with More Style and Less Weight for the Travelers
What do you bring with you when you go for some road trips or long-distance traveling? Your own phone + a DSLR camera + associated cables, and among other things.
But it’s 2022 and one does not need to bring that much when going for a sightseeing experience. Essentially, the Xiaomi 12 series smartphone has everything a traveler requires.
Great camera? Check!
Great screen for enjoying the footage? Check!
Superfast wired charging with wireless charging support? Check!
Also, the dual SIM support will make sure you get all the cellular network coverage by running a pair of them by 2 different telecoms.
Are you one of the 5 types of users?
Do your feet fit snugly into one of the “5 users” shoes? If yes, what are you waiting for? Oh sorry, you don’t need to wait as the Xiaomi 12 series smartphones are available for purchase starting today and right now at the price of RM2,999 for the base Xiaomi 12 (8GB+256GB) or opting for the stronger Xiaomi 12 Pro (12GB+256GB) at just RM3,899 packing all the extra display and camera goodness. Both devices are listed on Xiaomi’s Shopee, Lazada for online sales as well as all Xiaomi Authorized Stores for those who just don’t want to wait.
And interestingly, Xiaomi is also pushing out a new VIP service starting with the Xiaomi 12 series where they guarantee 4 things that include the numbers of one, two, three, and four which are:
- “1”-time screen replacement
- “2”-year warranty
- “3”-year Android OS upgrades
- “4”-year security updates
This whole package is curated to make sure your flagship device stays on par with future releases and protects against accidental mishaps.
That’s not all. Xiaomi is also packing in several freebies to the mix by including a Redmi Watch 2 Lite and Redmi Buds 3 Lite so you can have a complete package of digital companions to start off fresh. Additionally, the Xiaomi Soundbar 3.1ch will be having a 50% PWP sale at RM749.50 but this is optional and you can choose whether to go for it or not. And if you do, it will be delivered to your doorstep within 30 days of purchase of the Xiaomi 12 smartphone!
