Acer is refreshing the business-class TravelMate laptops to include Team Blue and Team Red’s industrial and professional variant mobile CPUs for this year’s offerings.
First up, we have the TravelMate P2 which is the simpler and more vanilla of the 3 new devices. Although it isn’t a fully rotatable unit like any of the Spin variant laptops, the TravelMate P2 can at least achieve a 180-degree full flat angle which is useful for tabletop discussions and stuff.
Available in both 14 and 15.6-inch form factors, it utilizes the 12th Gen Intel Core vPro mobile processor to give you super-efficient processing power while the chassis is made with a great portion of Post-Consumer Recycled plastics to chime in for the environmental factor, and the OceanGlass touchpad simulating a glass-like texture, feeling and aesthetic.
The long-time favorite TravelMate P4 (And the Spin P4, for that matter), returns with all sorts of upgrades as they can be fitted with either a 12th Gen Intel Core i7 vPro or AMD Ryzen 7 PRO processor and rocks a WUXGA 16:10 screen with thin bezels and protected by a layer of Corning Gorilla Glass.
As it is created to even manage online conference calls on the go, the built-in DTS audio plus AI noise-canceling microphone will make sure you can hear everyone else loud and clear while everyone else can do vice versa.
Both the TravelMate P2 and P4 have been created equally in the sense of security features thanks to the Microsoft Secured-core feature protects low-level components down to the firmware tier, and SecureBio fingerprint reader + IR Camera for Windows Hello in terms of user interactable security measurements.
