BenQ Malaysia has announced that they are bringing in the GV30 which is the very first mini LED portable projector to debut on the global market.
Despite its small size, it is packed with a rich feature set and is prized for including a 2.1-channel audio system with separate mid and high drivers to output clear, distinctive audio while dedicated woofers take care of the bass part. Assisted and tuned by the brand’s in-house audio engineering team treVolo, it carries multiple sound profiles of Cinema, Gaming, Sports, and Music modes to adapt to the needs of different users.
It also touts a completely wire-free experience by integrating Android TV into the system so it can stream and play content fully by itself via Google Play Store or get connected wirelessly with any iOS/Android devices.
Powered by CinemaColor and using the cinematography-standard Rec. 709 color gamut, the GV30’s video projection is rated at 300 ANSI Lumens brightness and 720p HD resolution.
While the 720p resolution may stave off some people, rest assured that the wide 135-degree projection angle will do it justice. Additionally, the Cinema Mode and Day Time Mode offer specific tunings to churn out high contrast video output in a wide variety of environments.
To ease the usage, the BenQ GV30 also comes with autofocusing feature and also auto vertical keystoning. Everything is automated for you so all you have to do is power it on and start watching your shows.
Oh, and the LED bulb will last for quite some time as well as it is rated for 30,000 hours of operation time on paper with a generous amount of battery capacity to keep it running for hours and hours.
Preorder Price and Period
BenQ Malaysia will start accepting preorders for the GV30 mini LED projector from the period of June 20 to July 4 at the price of RM2,499. After that, it’s going to climb up to RM2,688 so just pull the trigger wisely and you can save a couple of hundred bucks.
