Code.org, a non-profit foundation, aiming to bring computer programming studies to be a core curriculum subject for all students in education.
It mainly teaches us how to think, how to make programs work on computers, why is it so important and much more. In this current generation, technology is everywhere, most of us have more than one computer each (phone included) and they are all operating on a software.
Learning to code is definitely an advantage to all of us as it teaches us how to think and personally, I’ve experience it. Algorithms teaches you how to do things step by step and get it done. After that, you can review all of your steps and try to combine, shrink or optimize the steps. The lazy millionaire is always the one who creates the easiest way out nonetheless.
We are, bizarrely, in short of programmers and as shown above, we are lacking programming graduates. With high demand comes high pay too. That’s a plus for sure.
In any case, check out this video of tech giant founders and big time players talk about why programming is so important.
