Shopee Malaysia has announced that ShopeePay users can now send or receive funds from other e-wallets or any online banking platforms using their DuitNow IDs, making money transfers simpler and more straightforward.
This feature is now available for ShopeePay users that have activated their Premium accounts, with a daily and monthly limit of RM4,999 each. ShopeePay users are only allowed to activate their phone numbers for their DuitNow service on the Shopee mobile app.
To enable the DuitNow transfer service, follow these simple steps below:
- Tap on the “Settings” icon in your ShopeePay page in the app
- Tap on DuitNow, agree to the T&C, and tap on “Link DuitNow to ShopeePay”
- Obtain a verification code via WhatsApp, voice call, or SMS
- Key in the verification code to successfully register your phone as the DuitNow ID for ShopeePay
By the way, ShopeePay is running a special promotion from 16th to 30th September to encourage users to try out the new feature, in which users who receive RM50 or more with DuitNow to their ShopeePay account will stand a chance to win a Free Shipping voucher.
