Back in July this year, the OPPO Reno8 5G series smartphones entered Malaysia with the Reno8 Pro 5G spearheading the performance graph for power users while the standard Reno8 5G sits in the sweet spot as one of the best premium mid-range device in the market thanks to the great balance in terms of design, power efficiency, and powerful camera setup.
To celebrate the year-end festivities this 2022, OPPO Malaysia has brought in the Reno8 5G with a different shine of color this time which is the Sunkissed Beige color.
Taking a quick look at the back of the device reveals the sophisticated craftsmanship applying a touch of light gold that represents elegance without going overboard while maintaining the classy feel through its consistent shine at all angles.
When paired with the signature rounded square camera bump of the Reno8 series smartphone, the color and design just go through the roof, not to mention that the bezels and frame of the device are also coated in the same Sunkissed Beige paint for the one true device of absolute fashion.
Known for the use of high-performance camera sensors, the Reno8 5G’s rear camera is powered by Sony’s IMX766 sensor coming in a size of 1/1.56” capable of capturing more light for a more powerful DOL-HDR adjustment in order to capture the best balance in terms of shadow and brightness.
Whereas the front camera which most brands will not pay much attention to, it is a Sony IMX709 sensor co-developed with OPPO that features an independent RGBW color array that can capture up to 60% more light compared to conventional offerings.
Perhaps you need a reason to convince you to get this particular model that is not part of the aesthetic aspect and actually there’s one. The RAM of the device is now at 12GB as the original release is only at 8GB so a 50% increase in memory capacity but at the same price – literally a freebie for you.
Let’s not forget OPPO’s iconic 80W SuperVOOC fast charging protocol that can juice up the Reno8 5G’s 4,500mAh battery to 50% in just 11 minutes and if you need to quickly finish up a match in your favorite mobile titles, hook it up for 5 minutes and enjoy 2 hours of gaming out of that.
Conclusion
In short, the OPPO Reno8 5G in Sunkissed Beige will help you become the center of attention this festive month thanks to its outstanding look and it makes every buck you paid for it worth more due to the RAM upgrade on top of the existing well-balanced components and great camera performance.
