Among the plethora of new products announced at CES 2023, ASUS is not forgetting the business people as their premium class ultrabook ExpertBook B9 is finally getting the OLED panel.
Named the ExpertBook B9 OLED as it should be, this new model hosts a 16:10 QHD OLED panel compared to the last gen’s 16:9 LCD for improved color accuracy, screen estate, and overall visual fidelity of vivid colors and better contrast. Loaded with a super large touchpad that is 26.8% bigger, one can actually work through the whole day without a mouse in a practical sense.
Made out of premium magnesium-lithium, it is both durable and stealthy as usual but you’ll be surprised to hear that the manufacturing process has been improved to use 29% less material and is 75% quicker resulting in a much smaller carbon footprint.
For the internals, it can be equipped with a 13th Gen Intel Core Mobile Processor with vPro for an extended security feature set and up to 64GB of DDR5 RAM. Designed for business use, the FHD IR webcam with physical cover will serve both video conferences and Windows Hello logins with the latter having NFC plus fingerprint login support.
The audio department is handled by Harman Kardon for sound tuning and Dolby Atmos support will help in the occasional break time movies. There’s a triple array microphone to capture your voice loud and clear as well.
