ASUS Malaysia has officially announced the arrival of the Zenbook 14 OLED series laptop, at least a couple of models today.
The two models in question are the Zenbook 14X OLED and the Zenbook 14 Flip OLED but we’ll start with the former. The 14.5-inch powerhouse continues the premium thin and light design with its durable yet thin chassis at just 15.5mm thin and 1.5kg of weight. The style point has further been bumped because of the brand new Plasma Ceramization coating process covering it in colors of Inkwell Gray and Sandstone Beige.
Running the latest 13th Gen Intel Core H-series mobile processor plus an optional NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3050 GPU together with a maximum of 32GB RAM, the machine can do some pretty good weightlifting no matter gaming or some photo/video editing.
Let’s not forget the screen which is a gorgeous 2.8K OLED panel with 100% DCI-P3 color gamut, 120Hz refresh rate, and 0.8ms response time that supports HDR thanks to the DisplayHDR True Black 600 certification and PANTONE Validated sticker.
On the other hand, the 360 rotation department shows off the Zenbook 14 Flip OLED that is even more portable and light because it doesn’t have a discreet GPU but rather the iGPU-equipped 13th Gen Intel Core i5-1340P with Xe Graphics but in exchange for that, the 75Whr battery will power the device for much longer than the Zenbook 14X.
Memory configuration-wise, it holds 16GB RAM and 512GB of PCIe SSD. On the other hand, the screen is the same as well – 2.8K OLED, 120Hz, 0.8ms response time, DisplayHDR True Black 600, and so on. But, it also supports touch with the optional ASUS Pen 2.0 MPP 2.0 Stylus and as a Flip device, it can be turned to any angle without any issue.
A good range of I/O has also been provided as well which includes 2x Thunderbolt 4, 1x USB-A 3.2, and 1x HDMI 2.1.
