realme Malaysia has officially launched the new C53 smartphone that is poised to challenge the budget market once again.
The C53 continues the renewed spirit of the C series which promises to deliver the best in at least one aspect with the C53 being the battery king at its competing price point.
That’s not to say the other things are completely bad though as the SoC and camera are fair game while the memory capacities are plenty for casual users and they too can be expanded if one really needs that extra space.
Here’s a quick rundown of the specs.
- 6.74-inch IPS LCD Display
- 1080p Resolution
- Middle Punch Hole Notch
- 90Hz Refresh Rate
- UniSoc Tiget T612 Chipset
- 6GB RAM (Up to 6GB Dynamic RAM)
- 128GB Storage (Expandable up to 2TB)
- Dual Back Cameras
- Main: 50MP f/1.8 with PDAF
- Unspecified sensor but presumably depth sensor
- 8MP Selfie Camera
- 5,000mAh Battery
- 33W Fast Charge
- Champion Gold, Mighty Black Colors
There are also a couple of home appliances revealed at the launch party which are the realme smart 4K TV (50-inch) and the Air Purifier Pro.
The TV is a simple one – 50 inches, 2.6mm bezel, 97.2% screen-to-body ratio, and hosts the exclusive Chroma Boost Picture Engine powered by a MediaTek Processor under the hood.
What’s more, the 24W Quad Stereo Speaker with Dolby Atmos will bring more life into the movies you’re watching. Speaking of Dolby, the TV itself supports Dolby Vision too.
As for the Air Purifier Pro, it has an integrated 360-degree multi-functional 3-in-1 HEPA filter to get out all kinds of pollutants in the air like dust, fine particles, and even bacteria and viruses thanks to the antibacterial/antiviral coating on the H12 filter.
It is designed to handle a room of 57.6m² with good coverage while owning a high Clean Air Delivery Rate (CADR) of up to 480m³/h.
The built-in Laser Air Quality Sensor can accurately detect the quality of the surrounding air while the Digital LED Display is now better in displaying info that includes 6 modes and 4 timer presets.
Lazy much? Then use the realme Link app to remote control it.
