Acer Malaysia has announced the arrival of the newly refreshed Aspire Vero laptop alongside the CB1 monitors with multiple variants to choose from.
Let’s start with the Aspire Vero 14 first. This refreshed model uses a higher percentage of Post-Consumer Recycled (PCR) plastics at 40% for the chassis and Ocean Bound Plastic (OBP) for the signature OceanGlass trackpad.
The chassis itself is also paint-free which minimizes the use of organic compounds while the shipping package uses 100% recycled paper and 90% recycled plastic. As always, the packaging can be repurposed into a laptop stand if you wanted to.
As for the device itself, it has a 14-inch FHD IPS display and runs an up to 13th Gen Intel Core i7 CPU plus 8GB/16GB RAM paired with 512GB of SSD.
For those wondering if the device has Microsoft Office, yes, one copy of Microsoft Office 2021 Home and Student edition ready to serve your documenting needs.
On the other hand, the Vero CB1 monitors come in 3 flavors – CB241Y (24-inch 1080p) CB271 (27-inch 1080p), and CB271U (27-inch 1440p).
All of them provide 99% sRGB color accuracy and the special thing is the USB-C port with 65W power delivery that reduces cable clutter while charging your gears when you’re working on something.
The ergo stand enables height, swivel, and pivot adjustments, and as usual, they utilize 85% PCR plastic, 5% OBP, and 100% recyclable green packing.
