ASUS Malaysia is excitedly unveiling its latest collaborative venture with A Bathing Ape (BAPE) and the lucky member in the family who gets the special dress is the Vivobook S 15 OLED.
First thing first, what’s “unique” about the laptop itself? Well, from looks alone, you’ll see the top cover and the trackpad getting filled with BAPE-themed line art in either white or silver.
The black base of the top cover also contrast against the silvery inward-facing sides for a stealthy and clean look.
In terms of specifications, it boasts an Intel Core i9-13900H CPU, tailored to effortlessly handle stuff like video editing and resource-intensive multitasking, thanks to its efficient hybrid CPU architecture. Adding the distinctive 2.8K OLED NanoEdge display with vibrant colors and a seamless 120Hz refresh rate, this is just the classic ASUS OLED laptop experience so to speak.
In the memory department, it is equipped with 16GB of LPDDR5 RAM and a capacious 1TB PCIe 4.0 SSD. Moreover, the array of I/O ports is comprehensive, including 1x Thunderbolt 4, 1x USB-A 3.2 Gen 1, 1x USB-A 2.0, 1x HDMI 1.4, and a 3.5mm audio jack.
Contained within its sleek chassis is a robust 75Whr battery, ample for everyday lightweight tasks, and capable of tackling demanding operations when required. This package is complemented by WiFi 6E and Bluetooth 5.2, guaranteeing swift and low-latency internet connectivity regardless of your location.
Now onto the bundled items which I hope is what most fans buying this package are aiming for in the first place.
Firstly, you’ll have the choice of one of two available bundle colors: Green Camo, paired with the laptop in Midnight Black, or Blue Camo, complementing the laptop in Cool Silver.
Next, you’ll discover a set of BAPE Edition carry bags, ASUS’s Marshmallow Mouse, a BABY MILO figurine, and an assortment of stickers.
The pattern designs feature the classic BAPE ABC camo style, while the endearing BABY MILO Friends inject a playful and charming element into the overall aesthetic.
The carry bag, designed not only to securely house the laptop but also accommodate accessories with its pockets and zippers, adds an element of sophistication to your mobility.
