ASUS Malaysia has officially launched the new Vivobook 16 model M1605 which offers a high ratio of balanced performance and value without creating massive debts for the buyers.
This 16-inch machine hosts a WUXGA (1920 x 1200) 16:10 LCD display for a larger screen estate for opening up multiple windows at once in addition to the thin bezels making it sleek and clean.
Under the hood is a piece of the latest AMD Ryzen 7030 series processor plus up to 16GB RAM and 512GB SSD – a great middle ground in terms of memory capacity.
Although the chip is not super toasty, the dual-vented cooling system with an IceBlade fan can keep the entire system cool without creating noise.
I/O wise, it comes with 1x USB-C 3.2 Gen 1 with PD support, 1x USB-A 3.2 Gen 1, 1x USB-A 2.0, HDMI 1.4, and a 3.5mm audio jack.
The 42Whr battery is light but sufficient for the system while the 720p webcam snaps you decently clear plus it comes with a physical shutter for better privacy.
Pricing and Availability
The starting price of the ASUS Vivobook 16 (M1605) is RM2,599 which comes with the above specifications including AMD Ryzen 5 7530 U CPU and 8GB RAM while the RM2,999 version nets you a better one of AMD Ryzen 7 7730U and 16GB RAM instead.
You may get one from the official e-store right now or via all sorts of authorized resellers and dealers across Malaysia.
