Within Samsung’s latest round of product announcement, the FE lineup makes a return – and we now have the first ever Galaxy Buds FE. We also have the Galaxy Buds2 and Galaxy Buds2 Pro with us – so let’s compare each of them to see if the Galaxy Buds FE is worth the price.
I highly recommend you watch this video since many things are better shown in the video rather than me typing it out for you to read.
For us here in Malaysia, if you are buying the Galaxy Buds FE, you’ll get a free Minions case from the Samsung Eco-Friends lineup. It’s a pretty nice case but the goggles of that Minion is just… very thick.
But if you have a case for your other Galaxy Buds – then you can reuse that case too. All the Galaxy Buds released since the Buds Live have the exact same shape and size for its case.
One particular thing that I like the most about the Galaxy Buds FE is the design. The earbud is no longer rounded and it also has this new wingtip. You can swap out the wingtip if you don’t like it. Having a choice is always better than none.
The sound quality – I’ll rate it like this. As for why – I’ve explained it in the video so watch that.
As for the price though, the Galaxy Buds FE is at RM399 right now. If you’re shopping in the market today – the Galaxy Buds2 will be the lowest in price. I’ve seen it for around RM239 from trustworthy stores. And that puts me in a dilemma – the Galaxy Buds2 has more features but the Galaxy Buds FE has more features.
It ultimately depends on what you want. For me, I’ll go for the Buds FE because the design – and especially the wingtip – is a huge plus for me. I don’t use the 360° audio and whatnot anyway – so the Buds FE is enough for me.
I must warn you though. There are a lot of counterfeit Samsung earbuds in the market right now that are selling at an incredibly low price. Do not be tricked as these are obviously fakes, even though it is sold by verified sellers. I’ll leave you trusted links down below instead.
