I gotta say one thing – I’m glad that Samsung is continuing the lineup of small flagship smartphones that is also available worldwide. Yeah, we have other small flagship smartphones from other brands but they’re not as widely available.
So what we’re talking about here is the new Samsung Galaxy S24. It has a similar shape and size compared to the Galaxy S23, but now with a squared frame with rounded edges. Honestly, I do like this new design since the corner doesn’t dig into my palm when I use it one-handed.
I mean, I don’t really need to grab the phone tightly anyway since my hand is actually big enough to use it one-handed comfortably. And that’s what I like about these small phones.
For this generation of the Galaxy S24, it is using the Exynos 2400 chipset and before you say anything – wait till tests and reviews to come out before making any judgment. I did some preliminary tests and while it is not conclusive, the Exynos 2400 is actually doing quite good. We’ll have a full gaming test video about it coming later. Hopefully soon.
Other than that, the overall hardware on the Galaxy S24 got a slight increment over the last generation – like a slightly bigger battery of 4,000mAh and a slightly bigger display of 6.2-inches while also getting an LTPO Dynamic AMOLED 2X display.
Best of all – it is getting all of the software features of the Galaxy S24+, alongside the 7 generations of Android OS upgrades and 7 years of security patches. It’s amazing.
