ASUS Malaysia has officially revealed the new set of Vivobook S OLED laptops equipped with Intel’s Meteor Lake NPU-injected processor.
The new models can go as high as an Intel Core Ultra 7 155H with Arc Graphics, 16GB of LPDDR5X-7467 RAM, and high-speed PCIe 4.0 SSD at 512GB. Additionally, if you feel like you need to give the iGPU a little bit of extra memory to work with in things like games, users are given permission to adjust how much RAM can be allocated to it.
The screen is the wonderful AUSS Lumina OLED panel that can either be 1920×1200 60Hz for the 14-inch or 3200×2000 120Hz for the 16-inch instead. Both of them are certified to be 100% DCI-P3 color gamut, VESA DisplayHDR True Black 600, and TÜV Rheinland for its eye-caring feature set.
Although given a nice power budget of 50W TDP, the ASUS IceCool thermal solution is capable of handling that through a set of heat pipes + air vents + IceBlade fans while keeping noise levels down to a minimum.
They are also given the new ASUS ErgoSense single-zone RGB-backlit keyboard with Windows Dynamic Lighting support to give users something fun to personalize as well as well-designed key travel and spacings for comfortable typing. And yes the Copilot Key is ready to help you tackle mundane tasks with the help of the Core Ultra’s NPU.
As for ports, there are a pair of Thunderbolt 4, one USB-A 3.2 Gen 1, an HDMI 2.1 with TMDS, a microSD slot, and a 3.5mm audio jack.
ASUS also made it to be collaboration-friendly by giving the hinge the ability to open up fully flat but not the entire round so be careful.
