Yes, you read the title right. Recently Fujitsu revealed their concept for an “invisible” keyboard. It is very similar to the laser keyboard which exist as prototypes years ago but this one have no lasers or any kind of projection. It works by you, acting like an insane person pretending to type on a surface.
The system works by tracking your fingers in front on your tablet by a front-facing camera.
So far, this technology is only a proof-of-concept by Fujitsu but I bet this will soon take off on various mobile devices where we always have the problem of not having a full sized keyboard.
