vivo Malaysia has revealed the brand new V50 smartphone for the local market.
The V50 is marketed as the “full ZEISS-powered smartphone” and yes they are not lying because both the front and back sides are running ZEISS lenses that also includes its proprietary algorithm for digital imaging and processing that leads to high quality photos and videos.
The design is slick and slim, but also well-rounded in a literal sense, as the 4 corners are smooth and palm-friendly. The back camera bump is there but not too crazy. As for daily driving, it houses a mid-range SoC but a big 6,000mAh battery for whole day operation, and coupled with high fast charging rate, dating with charging bricks/powerbanks will be super short.
Aside from the IP68 and IP69 dust and water resistance which is kind of the “must have in 2025”, it also comes preloaded with the new FuntouchOS 15 that packs a more streamlined UI with better responsiveness, easy to access AI features including Google Gemini, better signal coverage via AI SuperLink, and more.
Notable features including high-power dual stereo speakers, durable glass that protects the screen, and the Aura Light on the back that provides soft yet adequate lighting for easy portrait photos.
