For those who don’t know, August 19 is World Photography Day, and it is not just about pro-level cameras and veteran photographers, as everyone who takes a photo can just come and celebrate life’s best moments anywhere, anytime.
And for the occasion, Kingston has something that not only keeps files safe, but also enables creativity on the go, from external SSDs to SD and microSD cards.
For starters, there’s the Kingston XS1000 external SSD, a pocket-sized backup buddy with speeds up to 1,050MB/s and up to 2TB of space. It plugs into both USB-C and USB-A devices, and yes, it even works as extra storage for the iPhone 15, which makes it a pretty cost-friendly solution for anyone constantly running out of space.
If you need more power, the XS2000 takes things up a notch with up to 2,000MB/s and still fits in your pocket, getting ready for huge file dumping like 8K videos or high-res photo sets. It can move about 400 HD photos every second, basically turning any café table or hotel room into a little editing studio.
For the folks always on the move, Kingston’s Canvas Go! Plus SD card is built to keep up. With transfer speeds hitting 170MB/s and support for U3 and V30 speeds, it handles 4K video recording and burst shots without choking, so you don’t miss the moment when it happens.
And then there’s the Canvas Select Plus microSD card, which is a solid pick for Android users. It goes up to 512GB, runs apps faster thanks to its A1 rating, and is tough enough to handle travel, adventures, or whatever conditions you throw at it. Plus, Kingston backs it with a lifetime warranty, so peace of mind is built-in.
Lastly, the Workflow Station is a cool dock to host all the readers so that you can move files from different devices without multiple cables hanging around, which is super handy for professional setups.
Basically, Kingston’s message this World Photography Day is simple: no matter how you capture your stories, they’ve got the storage solutions to keep your creativity flowing without limits.
