HUAWEI Malaysia has released the brand-new WATCH GT 6 Pro and WATCH GT 6 smartwatches, built with premium materials and designed to offer advanced sports, health, and battery capabilities.
For starters, the HUAWEI WATCH GT 6 Series introduces a new high-silicon stacked battery that boosts capacity by 65%, giving the GT 6 Pro and GT 6 (46mm) up to 21 days of use, and the GT 6 (41mm) up to 14 days.
Its AMOLED display with 3000 nits brightness ensures clear visibility even under harsh sunlight, while the upgraded Sunflower positioning system improves accuracy by 20%. Runners can also benefit from an integrated coach powered by Running Form Analysis, which uses IMU sensors to deliver insights on stride, balance, and ground contact time.
Furthermore, the series packs over 100 sports modes and features cycling virtual power, offering cyclists near power meter–level precision directly on the wrist. Developed through thousands of simulations and advanced wind tunnel testing, this innovation enables riders to accurately measure intensity and adjust training in real time.
Plus, safety features include enhanced fall detection that can trigger automatic SOS alerts, team-up mode for sharing live location and data during group rides, and Altitude Monitoring 2.0, which tracks SpO₂, heart rate, and altitude changes above 2,500m with timely risk alerts.
The TruSense system also delivers 12-state emotional well-being insights, advanced cardiovascular monitoring, and continuous sleep tracking with HRV analysis.
In terms of design, the WATCH GT 6 Pro sports a sleek raised timing bezel and a larger display for a more immersive viewing experience. Built with sapphire glass, an aviation-grade titanium alloy body, and a nanocrystal ceramic back, it offers strap choices including brown composite woven, titanium, and black fluoroelastomer.
On the other hand, the HUAWEI WATCH GT 6 offers two editions: the 46 mm in green woven, grey leather, and black fluoroelastomer straps; and the 41 mm in purple fluoroelastomer, white leather, and brown woven straps.
Notably, the WATCH GT 6 Pro offers pro-level support for trail running, golf, and freediving up to 40 metres. It also includes over 17,000 zoomable global golf course maps with enhanced vector icons, altitude trend insights with distance estimation for trail running, and EN13319-certified diving-level water resistance compatible with PADI, SSI, and AIDA standards.
