vivo Malaysia is set to premiere its Chinese New Year short film titled ‘Unsaid, Still Felt’ that involves no traditional camera rigs during the filming process, and instead, only the brand’s flagship smartphone, the vivo X300 Pro.
The power of 4K 120FPS 10-bit log recording and its ZEISS Gimbal-Grade Main Camera fully captures the performance of Malaysian actor Jordan Voon Sow-Peng alongside comedy creator Alvin Zhang Xiao Zi, portraying the classic yet average situation of “affection isn’t always spoken out loud”.
vivo Malaysia is also extending the film’s message beyond the screen with the ‘Let Love Be Spoken’ Online Photography Contest, running from 12 to 28 February 2026. Open to all smartphone users, the contest invites Malaysians to capture meaningful Chinese New Year moments centred around self-love, family love, romantic love, or friendship, and share the story behind each image on social media.
Here’s how to join in:
- Capture a CNY-inspired moment based on Self-Love, Family Love, Romantic Love, or Friend Love
- Post the image on social media with a caption dedicating the moment to someone meaningful
- Include the following hashtags:
- #vivoX300Series
- #X300ZEISSImageGoFurther
- #vivoX300LetLoveBeSpoken
By the way, multiple original entries are allowed, and vivo smartphone users are encouraged to turn on their camera watermark for their submissions.
As for prizes, vivo is offering the X300 in Blue as the grand prize, followed by vivo Buds for second place and exclusive vivo pin collections for third.
