Tune Talk’s latest offering is geared towards travellers who don’t want to deal with the landing countries’ tourist SIM cards and whatnot – introducing Tune Talk E-Roaming.
This is built on the RM50 Epik+ 50 prepaid plan, and with E-Roaming, users can continue using their domestic data at full speed across supported countries, eliminating the need to activate separate roaming packages or purchase dedicated travel plans. Once users arrive at their destination, compatible devices automatically connect to a local network, allowing them to go online immediately using their existing mobile plan.
Specifically, the data allocation is based on the 500GB monthly quota, but practically speaking, users will experience more or less the same when using the service within Malaysia.
At launch, E-Roaming supports 13 destinations, including Thailand, Indonesia, Singapore, Vietnam, the Philippines, Cambodia, Brunei, Japan, South Korea, India, Saudi Arabia, Australia, and New Zealand.
Beyond the standard Epik+ 50 plan, the feature is also available on Epik+ Family and Epik+ Family Safe plans, allowing multiple family members, including children, to remain connected while travelling internationally without requiring separate roaming subscriptions.
