Microsoft is bringing its latest Surface devices to Malaysia, with the release covering the Surface Pro and Surface Laptop powered by Qualcomm’s new Snapdragon X2 processors.
The Surface Pro is still a 13-inch device that comes in both Snapdragon X2 Plus and Snapdragon X2 Elite configurations, and the optional OLED display provides a premium experience in creative work and entertainment consumption, while battery life extends up to 15.5 hours for all-day productivity.
The front-facing camera has also been upgraded to a 1440p ultra-wide unit that supports automatic natural framing during video calls. When paired with the optional Surface Pro Flex Keyboard and Surface Slim Pen, the device also benefits from advanced haptic feedback that creates a more natural writing and drawing experience across Windows 11.
Meanwhile, the Surface Laptop comes in 13.8-inch and 15-inch variants, with both units running color-accurate IPS LCD panels, and the 16-inch model has a sharper 262 PPI panel, up from 201 PPI previously, for improved image clarity and detail.
Battery life is said to now stretch up to 20 hours on the 13.8-inch model and up to 19 hours on the 15-inch version.
Microsoft also said that this new generation of Surface products will come bundled with the Affinity creative suite pinned to the Windows Start menu, giving users immediate access to professional photo editing, design, and publishing tools optimized for Surface hardware.
Preorder Info
Preorders for both devices are now open until July 22 through authorized retailers, including all IT Hypermarket, Harvey Norman, PC Image, Senheng Electric, SNS Network, and Thunder Match Technology.
