JETOUR Malaysia has officially brought in the new urban SUV, the T1, that packs style, tech, and everyday practicality for local drivers. The launch expands Jetour’s growing SUV lineup as the brand continues building out its presence in Malaysia alongside an expanding network of sales and service centers.
This new model comes in 2 variants – 1.5L TGDi 2WD that runs a 1.5-litre turbocharged engine producing 125kW (170PS) and 270Nm of torque through a 7-speed dual-clutch transmission, while the T1 2.0L TGDi XWD steps up to a 2.0-litre turbocharged engine putting out 180kW (245PS) and 375Nm, paired with an all-wheel drive system for added control across different road and weather conditions.
Looks-wise, it’s curvy and quite utilitarian, as it uses Storm-Eye LED headlamps, a bold front grille, and sculpted body lines meant to strike a balance between boldness and practicality. It sits on a monocoque platform with a 2,800mm wheelbase for a stable, comfortable ride, and comes in four exterior colors: Khaki White, Aviation Silver, Sand Gold, and Carbon Black.
For the inside, both models get a 10.3-inch digital instrument cluster, paddle shifters, leatherette seats, a power driver’s seat, ventilated front seats, ambient lighting, a voice assistant, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, a 50W wireless charger, seven USB ports, auto rain-sensing wipers, and a powered tailgate.
The base 1.5L variant adds 18-inch diamond-style alloy wheels, a 12.8-inch multimedia display, and an 8-speaker audio system, while the 2.0L XWD variant goes further with 19-inch petal-style alloys, a panoramic sunroof, a power front passenger seat with leg rest, a larger 15.6-inch multimedia display, and a nine-speaker Sony audio system. On safety, both variants come with six SRS airbags, a Level 2 ADAS suite, and a panoramic view monitoring system.
Price
The JETOUR T1 starts at RM129,800 for the 1.5L TGDi 2WD and RM146,800 for the 2.0L TGDi XWD, backed by a 7-year/150,000km vehicle warranty, a 10-year/1,000,000km powertrain warranty, and 5 complimentary maintenance services.
It is now available for test drives and bookings at all 43 authorised Jetour showrooms nationwide, with the first 2,000 customers who register eligible for a RM2,000 rebate and financing rates starting from 1.68%
