TECNO Malaysia has launched its latest POVA 8 5G, combining a large 8,000mAh battery, Ice Cooling System 3.0, and a customizable Alive Matrix Display.
As mentioned, the TECNO POVA 8 5G boasts a TÜV SÜD-certified 8,000mAh battery, delivering up to two days of usage under tested conditions, with support for 45W fast charging.
Keeping the smartphone cool is the Ice Cooling System 3.0, which features a 15,000mm² graphite cooling area that improves thermal efficiency by 12.5% over its predecessor for sustained performance during gaming and multitasking.
Under the hood, it is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7100 5G chipset, paired with 8GB LPDDR5X RAM, 256GB UFS 2.2 storage, and a 6.76-inch 144Hz display for smooth gaming and everyday use.
Design-wise, the POVA 8 5G retains the series’ interstellar spaceship-inspired design, available in Arc White, Graphite Black, and Helios Orange. A standout feature is the customizable Alive Matrix Display on the rear, offering personalized lighting effects for calls, notifications, charging, music playback, gaming, and more, while allowing users to view key alerts without turning on the main display.
For photography, it is equipped with a 50MP Sony LYTIA 600 main camera with 2x lossless zoom, a 13MP front camera, and AI LightMaster 2.0, which enhances image quality by reducing reflections, lens flare, and shadows.

Malaysians can now purchase the new TECNO POVA 8 5G (8+256GB) exclusively via Shopee for RM1,399, with nationwide retail availability beginning 31 July 2026.
