MINIX has introduced the EU928-AI, a new AI-focused Mini PC that combines the Intel Core Ultra series processor with a compact design aimed at creators, developers, and business professionals. Despite its small footprint, the system packs workstation-grade hardware capable of handling demanding AI workloads, creative applications, and enterprise deployments.
Powering the EU928-AI is Intel’s Core Ultra 9 285H processor with high-performance CPU cores, Intel Arc graphics, and a dedicated neural processing unit (NPU). Together, it delivers up to 99 TOPS of AI performance, enabling users to run AI applications locally instead of relying solely on cloud-based services.
The additional AI performance opens the door for workloads such as local AI inference, AI-assisted content creation, intelligent image and video processing, and AI model development. By processing these tasks on-device, users can benefit from lower latency, improved privacy, and greater control over sensitive data.
The system ships with 32GB of DDR5 memory and a 1TB PCIe 4.0 SSD as standard. Users requiring additional resources can expand the memory up to 128GB while adding more storage through dual M.2 PCIe 4.0 SSD slots.
For professionals who rely on multi-monitor setups, the EU928-AI supports up to four simultaneous displays via HDMI 2.1, DisplayPort 1.4, and Thunderbolt 4, while the connectivity pack includes dual 2.5Gb Ethernet ports, providing faster wired networking for NAS access, enterprise environments, and large file transfers. Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth, and Thunderbolt 4 further expand connectivity options for wireless networking and high-speed peripherals.
Despite its compact size, MINIX has designed the EU928-AI to sustain demanding workloads over extended periods. A metal chassis paired with a vapor chamber cooling system helps dissipate heat efficiently during AI processing, content creation, and other compute-intensive tasks to maintain stable performance.
The combination of Intel’s latest AI-enabled processor, upgradeable hardware, and enterprise-class connectivity makes the EU928-AI a flexible platform for local AI computing, creative production, edge AI deployments, and professional business applications.
