Just when you think the hype of the most viral game in the history of mobile gaming – topping download charts from iOS to Android for months – is fading, Rovio announces that Angry Birds Toons are coming to your smart device.
Rovio is always going to air their all of the 52 episodes of Angry Bird Toons, debuting in Australia, Indonesia, Korea, Finland, Brazil, Norway and also “on select video-on-demand channel providers, Smart TVs and connected devices.” I’m guessing that Samsung is already one of them since they have a TV with a Kinect-like feature to play Angry Birds on it.
It is not sure if Angry Birds Toons will make it to Astro but Rovio is providing it free for downloading via a new update for their Angry Birds app on your devices to “unlock the new channel button in the game homescreen on March 17th.”.
