Apple updates the entire AirPods lineup. Yes, from the AirPods, the AirPods Pro, and also the AirPods Max.
AirPods 4
Now we have the 4th generation of the AirPods – the famous open-ear airbuds. For this generation, it’s using USB-C charging and has wireless charging too.
It is also equipped with the new H2 chip to change sound modes more effectively. There are also some features like Siri Interactions. If we have ANC turned on, it’ll automatically turn off for a moment when we talk to other people. That’s great.
But there is another version of the AirPods 4 that’s literally called AirPods 4 With Active Noise Cancellation. Yeah, it’s an open-ear airbuds with ANC. It’s not the first one to do this, but I’m intrigued how effective it’ll be.

AirPods Max
AirPods Max got an update, available in a lot of different colors – and they’re also using USB-C for charging now. They retain the same price at $549 too.
I think Apple just added more color choices and nothing else.
AirPods Pro
Surprisingly most of the emphasis is placed on hearing protection. One of the main highlights is a certified hearing test that can be done directly on the AirPods Pro. It’ll play a series of tones across different frequencies, and we just have to tap on the screen if we can hear that tone or not.
The AirPods Pro can also function as a hearing aid – which is a great addition.
